About Daleswear

Daleswear, based in the Yorkshire Dales village of Ingleton, has been manufacturing outdoor and foul weather clothing for the last 30 years. The business initially produced garments for caving and climbing but has since expanded to include the manufacture and supply of corporate clothing and other specialist sewing processes such as instrument cases and body armour. An increasingly important part of the business has been retail sales  starting with Daleswear products but gradually expanding to include products from other manufacturers.

In 2005 the business moved to new premises on the main road, A65, which enabled the retail part of the business to expand significantly under the name Daleswear Outdoors. The increased retail facility now offers a wide range of top brands in clothing, footwear and other associated products.

Since the move the company turnover has increased dramatically and an expansion programme is in place which, when completed, will provide customers with greatly improved choice and facilities.
